Bisexuals are everywhere, so we're trying to get our message out as far and wide as we can!
We've had a busy summer, and supplied bisexual awareness raising flyers, posters, stickers and other materials (including volunteers when we could) to the bisexual stalls at an amazing number of Prides and other events across the UK, including:

In June we ran a training session for the Care Quality Commission LGBT Workers' Group, about myths and misconceptions about bisexuality and how they might be more supportive of the bisexuals in their organisations.
Following the biphobic comments that greeted Duncan James's coming out as bisexual, we were invited to write an opinion piece for Pink News, which was well received and sparked a lively debate about the validity of bisexuality - "Easier Bi The Back Door".
We ran a training session for bisexual activists at London BiFest in May, which was very well attended - we distributed a lot of flyers to people intent on getting them out to their local communities.
In June we were invited to give our views on bisexual workers and the discrimination they face, by Stonewall for their guide "Bisexual People in the Workplace: Practical advice for employers".

At BiCon (the national bisexual conference/convention) in Worcester in August we had a busy stall at their very successful 'Community Day', launched our "Friends of the Index" scheme and still found time to participate in a lively session about "Bisexual Organisations".
A large and very positive feature about us appeared in Bi Community News (issue 97, see our links page), as part of their series on bi organisations.
In September we took part in a discussion on national radio about the myth "everyone is bisexual really" (on the Richard Bacon show on BBC Radio 5 Live).
In October we ran a "Bisexual Awareness" training session in Leicester attended by the steering committee of the Leicester Lesbian Gay and Bisexual Centre, local members of Unison and Leicester Parents Friend.

Raising bisexual visibility isn't something we can do alone - we simply don't have enough volunteers! You can help raise it - and not just by downloading some of our leaflets, linking to our website or buying our t-shirts.
The best way to improve bisexual visibility is simply to come out as bisexual.
